2. Proxy server receives and processes the request
After the proxy server receives the request from the client, it reads the information such as IP address and port number of the target server. At this point, the proxy server acts as an “intermediary” and decides where to forward the request.
3. Data transit and anonymity
One of the powerful features of SOCKS5 proxy is that it will forward the packets to the target server for you, and the target server will see the IP address of the proxy server instead of your real IP address, which is equivalent to adding a layer of protection for you to effectively hide your real identity.
4. Response Return
After the target server receives the request forwarded by the proxy server, it will send the response data back to the proxy server, and then the proxy server will forward it to you. Throughout the process, the target server never knows your real IP address, but only knows that the proxy server is “processing on behalf of”.
5. Support for multiple protocols
